Possible CBS News' 60 Minutes Broadcast on SSDI Coming

The National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR) issued the following email alert to its members.  It has not been confirmed by any other source at this point, so we will reserve comment until aired.

CBS News' 60 Minutes Broadcast

"NADR has learned that CBS News' 60 Minutes is planning on Sunday, October 6, 2013, to run a piece on the Social Security disability programs that we believe will raise many of the same claims put forward in the NPR series "Unfit for Work" which aired in April.  The advocacy community is working hard to present a different perspective to the 60 Minutes team, but it is unlikely to stop or significantly change what will be broadcast."
